Ingredients

  • Bihon noodles: 250 
  • Chicken breast: 200 grams
  • Pork: 150 grams
  • Shrimp: 150 grams
  • Garlic: 1 head
  • Red onion: 1 medium 
  • White onion: 1 medium 
  • Fish sauce: 3 tablespoons 
  • Chicken powder: 1/2 tablespoon 
  • Ground black pepper: 1/2 tablespoon
  • Chicken pork broth: 3 cups
  • Cooking oil: 4 tablespoons 
  • Cabbage, thinly sliced: 200 grams

Instructions

  1.  Start with boiling chicken and pork for 20 to 25 minutes in a wok so they get tender.
  2. Set aside and let them cool. 
  3. Now reserve the broth. In the meantime, soak  Bihon(Rice noodles) in water for a maximum of 5 minutes until softening.
  4. Strain the noodles and set them aside.
  5. Chop the garlic, red and white onion, and cabbage.
  6. Shred the cooked chicken meat(breast part).
  7. Now cut the cooked pork into small slices (¼ inch each).
  8. Set the flame to medium and put in cooking oil.
  9. Now add the chopped garlic till they turn golden brown in color and place them apart.
  10. Now start pan-frying the shelled shrimp for 3-5 minutes and add salt according to the taste and flavor of your choice.
  11. Now remove them and set them aside.
  12. Now, put the torn chicken meat and cook for 12 seconds, and add the fish sauce to add flavor.
  13. Also, add ground black pepper and chicken powder, and mix them properly.
  14. Now bring back the reserved chicken and pork broth, and add them to the pan.
  15. Cover them and start boiling.
  16. Now add the softened Bihon noodles and sliced cabbage.
  17. Also, add fried shelled shrimp and mix them well.
  18. Uncover the pot and keep cooking for 5 to 8 minutes so that the broth reduces.
  19. Now put your dish on a serving plate.
  20. Add toasted garlic and spring onion with Calamansi for topping.
  21. Serve it hot.
