Preparing Chicken Lollipop

The recipe of this dish itself is very simple and easy to follow, the real trick and most critical part is properly preparing the lollipop from the chicken wings. Mastering the art of preparing a perfect lollipop may need a little practice, you may not get the perfect result on the first attempt but when you do it right once, you’ll know the way to repeat the process easily.

Cut the chicken wing into three pieces, the wingette and drumette parts will make a lollipop, and the wingtip is not used in this dish but we can save it for future use or cook chicken stock from it.

Once you made the slices, now it’s time to make a lollipop-like structure from both the wingette and drumette. To do so, loose the meat from one end of the bone and push all the meat to one side of the bone. Usually, when the meat is loose from one side it’s easy to force it towards the other end but sometimes this may need a little support of a knife. If you are still not sure about the procedure, I suggest you watch the video below and follow the procedure to prepare the lollipops. The detailed recipe to cook this delicious dish, with ingredients is discussed below, follow the steps to cook it in your home.
